The Life of Sister Eleanor Jesse

The Life of Sister Eleanor Jesse follows the daunting career of fictional nun and Catholic paranormal investigator through her life and watches as she grows with her works.

SISTER MYRTLE

SISTER AGATHA

Sister Myrtle

My name is Sister Eleanor Jesse. It is 2021 and I am ninety-seven years old.
Seventy years ago now, in 1951, I was promoted to the rank of investigator of the supernatural within the Catholic Church. A fifty-six-year career of Demons, Witches, Necromancers and the undead has followed, and I confess it has rather left me somewhat traumatised. This book contains my account of my very first case, of St. Agnes Convent near Ashton, Inverness, Scotland in January of 1951.
I have written this as a sort of therapy, a way of moving past the dark memories which still reside within my own mind. I can only hope that the dark things which traumatised me will not now traumatise you.
A warning: A great many terribly upsetting things occur in this tale, including, but not limited to; miscarriages, homophobia, psychological trauma and psychological abuse, Demonic possession, infant mortality, self-mutilation, suicide and death in many, many forms.

Sister Amelia

My name is Sister Eleanor Jesse, and one year ago, I published a book of my first case as an investigator of supernatural phenomena for the Catholic Church, in 1951.
Now, I tell you of the case of Sister Amelia in Louisiana, USA, in 1966, a tale of Demons and witches, of black magic and witchcraft, and of the redemption of the soul.
Be warned, the tale within is perverse of mind, body, and spirit, and is not for the faint of heart.

Sister Nathalia

My name is Sister Eleanor Jesse, a former investigator of supernatural occurrences for the Catholic Church. For the third time in recent years I find myself at a writing desk, a computer before me, and I feel a deep compulsion to simply… write.
And so I write of 1985, of the isolated village of Heavenette on the Outer Sister Island between the Australian mainland and Tasmania, a difficult and foreign place for any to access, but a paradise in miniature at the heart of the southern world. At least, that is as it had been before the nefarious doings which summoned me began to creep.
This case took me further from home than any other case before or since, to the Australian Outer Sister Island. During this case I also met a number of important individuals who you shall learn about as my tale unfolds. But also, on a more personal note, this case was the one during which I fell in love. Whilst working this case I met someone who made me, even if only briefly, question whether the celibate life of a nun is the right one for me.
As well as new friends and revelations and falling in love, however, this tale is ultimately about a terrible curse and truly heinous things. The rising dead, the heartbreaking rage of a childless mother, and the grotesque horrors that only Hell might conjure.
Be warned, if you choose to read on. This tale contains obscenities of language, of mind, and of body. Perversion of all that is Human, and the breaking of souls. Loss, death, and graphic violence and injury are contained within. Read no further if such things might churn your stomach.

Sister Agatha

My name is Sister Eleanor Jesse, today is Saturday 26th July 2025, I am one hundred and one years, and one hundred days old, and I believe today I am going to die.

But, I promised you all a fourth book, so perhaps I best get writing it. I can’t type, I can barely see, but my faithful friend Sister Agatha Clarke has offered to type up the tale I dictate to her, and if there’s one thing I’ve proven I can do over these last four years and three books, it is talk! So, let us get to it.
